Dredging conveyor with scraping vanes ideal for the transport of short chips. The dagger conveyor can be used for multiple uses and can have different shapes and sizes, customizable if necessary. It may be equipped with a coolant collection tank, if the swarf is not dry.
The scraping vane dredging conveyors are designed to transport short swarf. They are usually used for loading wet swarf to the centrifuge or for transportating dry swarf to containers or storage silos. The structure is made of 30/10 sheet metal. Transportation takes place by means of vanes that push the swarf, scraping the bottom of the conveyor. The conveyor vanes, in metal and vulkollan, are fixed on a double chain and can be of different models and mounted at different distances, depending on requirements. The material is fed close to the conveyor tail, while ejection occurs through the discharge outlets located in the upper part of the machine. In case of wet swarf, the dredging effect drains the cooling lubricant which is stored inside the integrated tank.
